Crap

Actually, that's it: this system lets me write crap.

Instead of writing long notes on consciousness or obligations, I can jot down passing ideas that aren't worth much – but that are fun to write.

And it makes a lot more sense for me to do that here, on a site I own and control, than on Musk's and Zuckerberg's social networks.

You should do the same.
