Death, death, death!
If we worried less, death would be the great liberator.
I'm not talking about suicide. I'm talking about how we see life.
A large part of the anxiety we accumulate comes from our tendency to take everything seriously. As if every action were important and serious.
Except that it all ends on an equal footing.
The billionaire and the homeless person, the beautiful and the ugly, the pleasure-seeker and the worrier, all end up the same way, and a few decades later no one remembers them. At best (or at worst), a few stories remain that have little to do with who they really were.
Everything matters less than we expected.
Nothing is as serious as we think.
The point was never to last.
Let's be free.
