Of course, you've known this song for ages. Because you're cool.

But did you know that Dan Klein, the singer of The Frightnrs, died of ALS? I find it does something to you to listen to a song knowing that:

1. The singer died before his first album came out,
2. He knew he was going to die when he recorded the track,
3. We're all going to die.

So yes: it's reggae. But New York reggae, I'm told.

And when you hear the first notes of his winding, melancholy singing rise*, I think that, like me, you'll be won over:

Till Then, by The Frightnrs

** I never chose to love so sweet a rose, I suppose I was just made that way.*
