Let's Start a Band!

Song of the moment. I love it because it doesn't really have a chorus, the lyrics are nostalgic, and it builds to a big finish. It's not exactly new – 2007 – but I only discovered it recently, after This is the life, which I've always liked.

What the two songs have in common is... how can I put it? A mythology tied to music and adolescence. The bands, the nights out, the parties, the festivals... When you're young, it's not just culture or a stage of life: it's a world. It's the world. (This is the life!)
