At first, I only worked with companies.
First in video production, then in public speaking, then over the past few years, in narrative strategy.
Except that recently... I had friends who were struggling.
Who couldn't sell themselves. In very different fields, far from innovation.
To help them out, I offered them the coaching I normally reserve for experts.
For free. Because they're friends.
But only the part where we talk: I don't produce the strategic deliverable like I do for companies.
For two hours, they tell me their story.
We let two weeks go by, then for one hour, we have a working session to unblock their process.
Then a month later, we look at where things stand.
The result: it really, really helped them.
Then I started getting contacted by strangers who were looking for coaching.
I told them I was doing something that looked like professional coaching. That it was new.
This time I charged.
And since it kept working really well, I created a dedicated offer.
I try to keep the rates accessible, well below my corporate rates.
The goal is to unblock, to set people on the right track. So that afterwards, they don't need me anymore.
Sometimes, we realize people actually do need the strategic deliverable. They're at a point in their development where they genuinely need a communication strategy. In that case, we move up to the next offer.
But in the vast majority of cases, talking is enough.
These are talented people who just have a process problem.
They're blocked by beliefs about communication that keep them stuck. They don't want to "turn into a salesperson".
So we find a way for them to communicate that they're comfortable with.
Like I did for myself, really.
